Central Students is designed to introduce middle and high school students to a Jesus-centered life.

Central Students is open to all 6th – 12th Grade students, regardless of where they are in their journey. We understand students are trying to navigate the challenges of middle and high school, so our goal is simple: to connect them to Jesus, each other and empower them to live out their faith in an ever-changing world. We gather at Central's campus, providing environments where students can engage in worship, hear relevant teaching, connect in groups and create a place students call home.

Wednesdays (Sept-Apr)
Games · Teaching · Discussion

Before the 6:30pm worship service, 6th and 7th grade students, join an age-appropriate small group setting from 5:30 to 6:15pm to engage in a Biblical lesson and learn how to live out their faith in an ever-changing world.

After the 6:30pm worship service, 8-12th grade students meet with their classmates from 7:30 to 8:30pm to discuss the message and how to live a Jesus-centered life. We come alongside our 8th-12th graders and provide an adult Bible and journal. Our small groups are geared to help the students create a life plan and faith statement that will culminate in a senior celebration.

To enroll your student, please register online.

Helpful Information

Joining 6th grade - Your 6th grader is moving from the kid's programming at Central to our student programming in middle school. In the younger years, kids are taught in a classroom setting and as they crossover into the Middle School they will now be a part of a small group of students their age.

Joining 9th grade - At Central, we come alongside our 9th graders and provide an adult Bible and journal in this High School phase. This is their "crossover" from the Middle to the High School. Our small groups are geared to help the students create a life plan and faith statement that will grow and culminate into their senior celebration where they reaffirm their baptismal promises.

Baptism Reaffirmation - At Central our students complete their high school phase by reaffirming their baptism at their senior celebration during a separate worship service at the end of April. During this service they; share memories from high school, talk about their future plans, give insight as to how God has impacted their life through their faith statement, reaffirm their baptismal promise, and receive a blessing from their pastor, parents, and family. Join our Team

Central Students SGLs (Small Group Leaders) are a growing team who are serving more students every year. If you are passionate about making disciples and investing in middle/high school students, we would love to hear from you!

Being a Central Students SGL is a commitment for a phase of either 6th-8th grade or 9th-12th grade or, if possible, committing to stay with the students from 6th-12th grade. We ask you to show up to our weekly gatherings and join us in loving like Jesus. All volunteers are required to complete a background check & live a life consistent with loving God and loving people. For more details, email our family ministry director Kellee Petik.
